The Feds have very limited power in this sort of situation. The only thing Trump could do was use them to protect federal properties and even that was met with widespread protests by the local leaders and the governor. The rest was alot of noise, smoke and mirrors which did nothing to help and made the situation worse. Which 3cat probably ate up like applesauce.
Trump doesn't handle any crisis well. He either causes them, or bungles the fix and makes it worse or all three together.
I mean, look at his hurricane response. He totally fucked that up. He's also fucking up the response to the unrest in Portland and other cities as well as fucking up the response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He's fucked up everything. Everything Trump touches is forever dirtied, broken, bankrupt or dead. He's a reverse Midas. He's a Scumdas and a political and literal Typhoid Mary.
