Twenty years of daily comics, never an update missed. I was there for most of it (all but the first ten days, my first comic was Schlock discovering the New Sync Boys were holograms).
How about y'all?

I entered late to the party, but I enjoyed it, and I am going to miss it.
I noticed that I have one problem with following comics - once I an up to date and follow the regular updates, I start to lose track of what's going on and who is who and why they are where they are.
I guess I need to go back and reread everything.

Yeah, every so often (when we still on the Zoo site) I'd go looking for an answer for something and do a random archive dive, or go back and reread the whole current book, just to get acquainted with the story.
In fact I do that with most webcomics except Sluggy Freelance... but Sluggy is so old, it's archive is sooo deep.... yeah, nah, I ain't readin all that shit over again (maybe someday).

Sluggy is only a few years older than Schlock, but unlike Schlock it wasn't daily for most of that time, so there are far fewer strips. I should reread it at some point though, I'm pretty sure I skipped several chapters the first time through because of the old "random archive glitch", but I'm just not that into it.

True, but the way archive is set up it makes it harder to navigate, so I've always been less willing to bother (atleast since the big changeover sveral years back). The 'weird' thing about Schlock, because I read it at 9-10pm, instead of fist thing with my brekkie like all my other comics, now there is this hole in my 9pm. 9pm rolls around (or any time thereafter when I'm at teh compy in the evening and I notice the time) and I'm reaching to open Schlock Mercenary, and then stopping because it's not there anymore. So I'm actively feeling that loss instead of just not noticing like I would with any other webcomic that's ended or faded away.
