Allyson Felix has more gold medals than Usain Bolt for being an olympic sprinter. Her world record time in the 400m is 49.26 seconds. There are at least 300 high school boys just in the US who are faster. All they have to do is throw on a dress, claim they are female, and start stomping records.

That a minority of special interests is opposed to it running through a small section of their land *isn't* why it was cancelled.

One need only look at the pipeline they plan on running from Turkey to Qatar (through Syria), who will benefit from it (hint: Obama and Burden's BFF Iran:and China), and what it means for US (and Canada) oil prices to understand what the actual impact will be rather than the intended impact.
