I guess no one here is subscribed to Apple TV+ or whatever it's called. Even if am only subscribed because it was a free offer with my iPhone purchase. And they extended the free subscription for another half year.
But I finally got to watching the first season of "For All Mankind", and I really enjoyed it. Season 2 has also been released already ,so I guess I am going to watch that next.
If you like a more "hard-sci-fi" space exploration (no protomolecules-type magic so far, so probably never!) and alternate history, this is pretty cool.
The premise is - the Russians beat the Apollo 11 mission by a few weeks to the Moon. Embarassed by this, the US declares the space race isn't over, and the next goal is a moon base. We get to see the lives of the astronauts, engineers and their families and the missions they undertake and the personal, political, psychological and professional challenges they face.
