Hello everyone! I'm new here. Saw the link on Morrus's authoritarian state. I mean ENworld. What is this place about? It's the small remainder of a motley collection of people from different old gaming boards... but to be completely honest, almost everyone initially came from ENWorld seeking a refuge where calling someone a cunt wasn't a bannable offense, even us really old timers from the pre-internet days. The only real rules are "Don't piss off Morrus so bad he shuts the place down" and "Don't piss off Morrus so bad he bans you 'forever'". But since Morrus doesn't really post here, those are both hard to do and would require serious work. Also the hosted sub-forum Schlock Mercenary has it's own rules. Most people in there came from the old Nightstar Zoo Forums which have finally shuddered to a close. |

Does not pissing off Morrus mean... Things that have pissed off Morrus enough to get him to seriously threaten to shut down the site: Spamming his personal email with personal attacks. Things that got people banned on the old Circvs Maximvs forums (when Mo was around more): Abuses of Admin powers, attacks on Mo's character of an extreme and personal nature, making insane legal threats, repeated and egregious offenses (sneaking into off-limits subforums, avoiding a ban by creating a new account, multiple not-funny sock puppet accounts, etc), being ArtyQ/brooklynknight. I can literally count on one hand the number of people banned for life* and still have fingers remaining. * And we mean 'for life' to actually be 'and never be given a chance to return and fuck up again' the number of fingers remaining skyrockets to 4. You're safe. But note, around here you won't find any of those. We have some lefties who are soft (in the head) on those types, but none of them actually exist* on this board (TTBOMK)†. * There are a few who claim to be feminist, but they mean "old school 'bra-burning 70's' feminist", before the intersectional stupidity took over the movement. We might also get a few of our honest to goodness real progressives to return, but again they mean in the old school sense of progressive, not the 'woketavists'‡ as the term has become. † I cannot claim none of the Schlock fam aren't radfems or woketavists, we never delved into modern politics on that board, or if they did, it was over in the political non-webcomic sections of the Nighstar Zoo where I never cared to post. ‡ And of course Scarbonac and kzach are currently pretending to be interfem/woketavists for fun. I give it a few more years and they'll settle down for nap time and get over their childishness... |
