Yes, she isn't gone, and kinda becomes more important and kinda independent. It's not so good if you liked Legion's sister, though. Never really cared about the sister. Not a bad character, just, not anyone I was interested in. I'll pick up season 2 and 3 and re-add them to the pile... |

However, it's usually the actor who breathes the life into the character... so if they brought the character back, but played by someone else, I'd be much less interested... However that said, this looks like an interesting movie. I wonder how much of a mind fuck it'll be compared to how the trailer presents it? Just watched Archive on Amazon. It's a film like Mother, Ex Machina, or Moon, but not as good as those. Still enjoyed it tho.

 If they do make a proper Dark Knight or Batman Beyond movie starring Micheal Keaton (co-starring in the later case), that might be the first DC movie I'll see in a theater since Nolan's (not) Dark Knight. |

Been watching Invincible, and in a surprising twist I've been watching it without ever having read the comics 9because i trusted the taste of the person who recommended it).
It's good. It's like if The Boys and Watchmen got together and gave birth to a grown up capes-shit show that wasn't all grimdark and juvenile. And it's not a deconstruction, it's a 4-color capes-shit comic book/show.

I've read the first 40 issues now and the cartoon is following the comic, though it's accelerating the plotlines and giving more background so things that are more of a surprise in the comic to the readers are laid out in advance to the audience. Which to be honest is fine. it's not the "twist" that's the important part, but how the characters handle and pivot on the twists. If it follows the comic faithfully, looks like we'll get 2-3 seasons then an ending. Which I alway appreciate, I prefer a solid conclusion to a "never ending" show or one that peters out and gets lost in its own weeds. |
