There were as many as 30,000 people at that rally. 500 is 1.5% and most of those were non-violent people who just went inside because others did. |

Many of them were arrested for curfew violations which means "being in public in DC after 7pm on Jan 6th", it doesn't mean "arrested at the Capitol building. Some people were arrested for things before the protest even began and those arrests are being included with those arrested for "Capitol building offenses" because they were 'planning to go to the Trump rally/protest'. 2 - Why is it suddenly bad to chant "death to [inset group or individual]" when BLM and Antifa chanted that all summer long and y'all pushed that off as "political hyperbole"? What could have possibly changed? |

You know, the exact stuff the left thinks is so bad when it happens to "their side". It's good to know you're fine with oppression as long as they're people you don't like. And what exactly do you think that says that in any way refutes anything I've said? But it's okay to scream "Kill all cops" while trying to burn down a federal justice building? Anftifa and BLM stormed plenty of state capital buildings. Do I need to point to the gallows, and guillotines, and burning ineffigy, and the actual assulats committed against police and politicians by Antifa and BLM that you handwaved off all summer? It was fine then that people chanted 'death to cops' when they'd already been engaging in the murder of police, but suddenly political hyperbole needs to be taken with the utmost gravity. One - Not a single of these PBs "turned stool pigeon". Either you didn't read the article you posted, or you don't understand what "turned stool pigeon" means. I fully believe both of these items are true. Two - "more than a few", smh. Of the above only 1 was arrested for being involved in the Jan 6 Mostly Peaceful Protest. And he isn't in any way shape or form "regretful" or "turning". There are things you don't understand, like that the PBs routinely would tell the FBI where they were marching and rallying so the FBI would know where they were going to be so if there were any hassles, that could be dealt with in advance. These arrangements are two-way streets. The PBs give the FBI info, the FBI trades it for info, like telling them that certain cities or states have gun bans, weapons bans, etc, where they've gotten tips that Antifa will be, straight up giving them money, or advanced notice of rewards offered for information on rival criminal groups (like info on specific Antifa members). The FBI does this because who better to get info about Antifa from than the group that pays them complete and total attention? Look, it's okay to be ignorant about how the world works and what words and phrases mean. It's a whole different matter to parade your ignorance proudly and act as though you are the one who knows what is going on. |
