OH MY GODS this is both hilarious and excellent at the same time  So...Italian group does a Latin pop take on Norwegian black metal...and tosses in a bit of Sinead O'Connor for good measure. Admirably weird. ...they're singing partially in Spanish, and reggaeton is a Hispanic thing, being Puerto Rican in origin. I just saw a thing on FB for, I kid you not, a metal mariachi band playing in Seattle in March. I admit to being intrigued.  |

I just found these guys, too, and they're pretty good. Though my first thought was what a nightmare it would be trying to play that harp in that setting, between the altitude, contrasting temperatures, and the wind interfering. |

My burgeoning accordion-lust is leading me to listen to different styles of playing, and I admit I'm gobsmacked at just how versatile this instrument is. I've never heard Vivaldi like this before, this guy's amazing.
