Month's half over, but so what?
Day three of the second COVID vaccine and like the first shot (and all vaccines) I feel like shit. But it's just low grade fever now so by tomorrow I ought to be right as rain. Speaking of rain, we're finally getting a decent amount this year so hopefully Florida skips the yearly drought and doesn't burn down this again (I say that, but to be honest we haven't had a bad one since '98).

Ouch. Hope ya feel better. I got sick with a sinus infection like two days after I got the second dose myself. Took a week to feel better. But hey, I don't have to wear a mask now in most situations, so I'm a happy camper.

Ouch. Hope ya feel better. Fine by day five, so it's all good. Worse than the first shot and any previous vaccine, but not an actual cold/flu. I'll probably keep right on wearing mine the one day a week I go out to do stuff. Reduce the odds of a cold or flu, and maybe keep the "it's okay to wear a mask" mentality prevalent. I suspect far too many people wore a mask merely because of societal pressure or fear of legal consequence and not because it was a good idea. If we can keep people used to the idea that masking up when necessary (you know you've caught a bug, you've been around people who were sick, etc) is good, we can reduce cold and flu spreading. And be ready if COVID 2021 rears it's ugly head in December. |

No argument there. Like I tell folks at work, if it makes you feel better and more secure to wear a mask, it's okay by me. Hell, if I'm like in a salon or places where people are right in my face like that, I gotta wear a mask as well or if an employee at some business asks me to, I'll wear one. It's really no big deal.
