I'm Devoid. I was one of the less active members of old CM. I prefer quality posts over quantity and try to reflect objectively whenever possible.
I originally joined the old CM forums back in 2011, But I was also a member of Nothingland (and a few others when it closed) as Adriak (or was it BungaloBill, I can't remember) back in 2004.
There were many interesting characters that left shortly after I joined CM due to Facebook and other facets of life. Between Facebook slowly losing popularity and the new forum, I hope more of the old guard return. Sadly, I believe it will not happen to any significant degree.

Too many of them were/are "normies", so the troubles Facebook is seeing won;t be enough to get them back (unless Facebook folds). Sadly Facebook still fulfills all the functions that won them over in the first place, ease of use, less anonymity, moderation, Facebook selling their info to all comers, etc... |
