Yeah I know its a tradition to take the tiny exception and craft the rule around it. But damn. I just wonder how often it is that a player in a game has no choice but to go catatonic or run from the table since they lack an X card? I only game with randoms at cons and I went to my first in a long time this year. But if I wasn't into gaming and someone pointed me to that kind of thread I'd be thinking "this is some fucked up shit. I'll try a different gaming hobby since this is just nuts." |
