I recently picked up a copy of Who Goes There? , as I've heard it's a better (i.e., more balanced, more variation in play) The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31. Has anybody here played it? Was it fun? What were your experiences?

I've never played either. I'm curious to hear about them.

Huh. Does it cleave more closely to the novella, either of the movies, comics, and/or the short story from The Thing's perspective?
Or none?
Yes I know this is awfully late.

All of the humans and things (if, indeed, any have infiltrated the base crew) have the same goal - survive and escape on the emergency evacuation helicopter when it arrives. The things, of course, also wish to remain undetected and/or assimilate humans when it benefits them to do so. It's pretty true to the goals of everybody in the Carpenter film (and prequel), things included.
