I actually like the revised t-rex, though I don't quite remember how we found that dinosaurs actually had feathers.

Real-world? There have been suspicions for decades, but the evidence has slowly accumulated over that time until it's pretty close to universally accepted now.
It's been interesting and amusing to watch rank heresy become the accepted answer.

The molds are already made, so the maker (assuming he's even aware) doesn't want to spend the money for new molds.

Oh, I know... I used to have an egg-laying hen that rode on my shoulder, while I refilled their food and water dispensers. I named it "Buddy" before it started laying eggs... so of course, I re-named it Beatrice. It would have been totally cute if she didn't try to peck my eye out when I glanced over at her.. still cute, but with a major caveat.
