Finally bought two scales, one for the kitchen, one for the bathroom. Kitchen scale is pretty sweet, cost 15$, can weigh up to 11 pounds down to half ounce gradient, gonna be used to help with calorie counting (mostly for chicken weights right now). I make two sandwiches a day for work, one for brekkie, one for lunch, cut them into halves and eat a half roughly every 2-3 hours (one right before work, and then another on each break). Daily sandwiches Chicken wraps, ~620 calories each: 4 oz Chicken Breast 225 calories, Colby Jack cheese 2 1/2 slices 175 calories, Tortilla 220 Calories. That leaves roughly, what, 760 calories for a dinner. I can hit that with no sweat... Been thinking about just doing chicky sammies for breakfast lunch and dinner all week, makes it easier to track. But then my veggies go out the window. Have to look into a veggie spread maybe. I'm thinking broccoli and cauliflower in a blender until smooth... hmmm. Anyway, the bathroom scale is a beaut. Paid a good 50$ for her, all glass and steel (and plastic) weighs a solid 6 1/2 pounds, digital, and can handle up to a 550 pound fatarse. That last one was the real selling point as I've been getting worried (choices to buy were 350, 400, and 550 pounds). My current job is even less exercise than the restaurant was, workin in the 'credit card mines all day' means sitting at a desk for 8+ hours at work... then sitting at a desk for 8ish hours at home internetting. Last time I was weighed (3ish years ago) I was at 350. I lost some weight (quit drinking coffee, dropped junk food)... then with the recent job change I went back to drinking coffee and seriously cut the last of the 'exercise' out of the regimen (which was running around a kitchen like a cook on fire). So, yah, I've been worried of late. So weighed in today at 370. So, fears for naught. Didn't need a scale that goes above 400 after all. Working on cutting the coffee back out (so that'll be like -150 to -200 calories a day right there in half and half) and trying to motivate to exercise again... which I've always hated. So... current weigh in, 370 lbs. Daily calories, eh, roughly probably 2500. Exercise: Below minimal.

My wife has been doing a ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting, and has lost 25+ pounds in just a couple of months. She's basically doing about 20g of carbs per day. Most days, it's just lunch and dinner. Other days, it's just dinner. And still other days, she doesn't eat at all. That's usually just one day a week. My sister-in-law is doing a more advanced version of this, basically fasting 3 days out of seven and eating lunch and dinner the other days. She's losing a fair amount as well, though I don't know her progress.

Weekly weigh in: 367. Exercises this week: Actually less than the previous week (I skipped leg day*). Also, far less sleep this week and far hungrier (I find when the insomnia is rocking hard I'm hungry all the damn time - which generally leads to eating more... which viciously feeds the cycle). Didn't give in to the hunger. Calories: Probably a bit higher than the previous week (still imprecise†) because I drank far more coffee (and the calorie rich half and half I put in it). Noted that the prepackaged, presliced chicken is only 160 calories for 4 ounces. Sigh, why isn't calorie counting a science yet? * Actually I skipped everyday. Usually I do curls and other such arm/chest/upper-back, single and two-hand lifts... basically anything I can do while sitting at the compy and using a couple of 5, 10, and 20 pound weights. The joke here being I pretty much always skip 'leg day'... but then I got into that habit because I used to ride, run, and climb stairs all the time... so I need to get back into doing those things. Or find some leg/lower body and core workout 'things' I can do that don't bore the shit out of me. I do "Restricted Movement Isometrics" at work when I'm bored... and this last week has been beyond boring. So, maybe my 'calorie burn' count was higher this week due to doing more iso. † Still too lazy to actually weigh out dinner and try to figure it out.

Weekly weigh in: 371. Actual weigh in day was friday, the 8th.
Exercises this week: Less than zero. Migraines coupled with neck pain (from lack of sleep) made Jack a lazy notherfucker.
Calories: Up, had an extra sandwich almost every day, was starving (lack of sleep does that to me).

Weekly weigh in: 370. Actual weigh in day was friday, the 15th.
Exercises this week: Less than zero. Migraines coupled with neck pain (from lack of sleep) made Jack a lazy notherfucker. Again.
Calories: Above what I want should be eating. Went to Led Robster and had the All I Can Eat shrimp thing twice... once to celebrate a friend's new job and once because I told the Mother Unit Red Lobster had the shrimp all-u-can going on and she wanted it for dinner one night. However despite eating waaaaaaaaay too much both nights I still lost some weight (a pound is a pound) so apparently the reduced brekkie and lunch is working.
Also decided to weight the cats since one of them is on a diet, need to keep track, may as well do it here.
From fattest swollest to smollest:
Lucky Girl: 20 lbs and on a diet! (kidney diet food) Lugh: 11.2 lbs Little Guy: 10.8 lbs* Frogerick: 6.4 lbs
* Little Guy looks like he's literally 2/3rds his brother's (Lugh) length. But he's a little porkchop. Froge is almost as long as Little Guy... but he's almost half his weight.

I hear ya. Weight loss is a bitch to do. I'm off and on again. Although I have cut out the cafeteria at work, since the food poisoning incident. Still, vary it up a bit. Eating the same thing everyday can lead to the dreaded food binge.

Weekly weigh in: 370.2. Actual weigh in day was this morning before the day turned to shit.
Exercises this week: Minimal. Better week, but still too tired (and busy at work) to really do any isometrics.
Calories: Just above 2000/day. Had a few snacks during the week. Salt and Pepper pretzels.
Cats swollest to smollest:
Lucky Girl: 20 lbs Lugh: 10.8 lbs Little Guy: 8.6 lbs Frogerick: 6.2 lbs
The only one on a diet is Lucky Girl... I'm guessing the weighing is a bit off as I have to hold them and step on the scale. So variances in such small weights are to be expected. In other words I don't think anyone is losing weight, though if this trend continues next week i'll the Mother Unit weigh them in as well, to get two seperate sets of weights.

Thought I'd put this here to, y'know, encourage people.
Sharon Stone was temporarily banned from a dating site because people kept reporting her for using a "fake image" -- they didn't believe it was really her.
She included a screenshot of her account after it was closed, where a statement had been posted: “Your account has been blocked because we’ve received several reports about your profile being fake.” Bumble’s editorial director Clare O’Connor replied to Stone, unblocking her account and apologising for the error....
...After posting her tweet to Bumble, she was inundated with replies offering dates. One post read: “If you’re ever in Buffalo and kinda dig fat guys with mustaches my DMs are open. Also own a car so willing to drive (up to 25 miles) even if ya just close by.” [/quote][/div]
Hey, there's always a chance!

The last two months of the year have always been the most difficult for myself.

How is everyone holding up in the new year? Were you able to lose (or at least maintain) weight during the holiday seasons? The last two months of the year have always been the most difficult for myself. Weighed in last friday but was too exhausted from influenza type A and an ear/sinus infection to remember to post. Frogerick is up to a solid 7 pounds, no change for the other cats. Lucky is obstinately refusing to lose weight, despite being on a 'diet'. I jumped up to 385 following holiday foods and deserts (everyone saying, "But no, we'll never eat this pie, you take it" and "The cheesecake won't survive the trip back to Tallahassee, you take it") and me having a long ingrained poor person mentality of, "Thou shalt not waste food". I'm back down to 372 though. And the last ten days of mostly lazin about unable to move due to exhaustion has almost healed up that blown out knee from thanksgiving, so... that's one good thing to come out of being too sick to move much (the bad thing is being down $600 from a Dr's visit, prescripts, and over a week of missed work. It'll top $900 if I miss the rest of this week too).

Is the knee fully healed up now? Any additional weight loss? Pulling for ya!
How are the cats doing?

Is the knee fully healed up now? No. I can walk without a cane again, but I keep needing to do stuff (like move heavy furniture0 which puts me 3 steps back on the pain, swelling, and stiffness scales. No. But no backsliding. So... eh. Frogerick now weighs 7 pounds*, Little Guy is holding stableish at 8-8.5 pounds, the others are unchanged. * And he's getting plump around the midsection despite being a constant ball of ceaseless brrriping energy. How he races about non-stop, leaping, cavorting, etc on those crippled hips and knees is astounding.
