It is worse than that. Everything in Mandalorian will lead us toward the sequel storyline. Granted. But how heavy will the "build up" for the Prequels be? I'm hoping it's minimal, after all. there's a time window of 24 years between the start of The Mandalorian and TFA. On the bright side, it means that he might turn up, and then be gruesomely killed. I could live with that. With Dave Filoni's love of Jar-Jar? Hahhahaha...ahah...ehh... ha. There are three [living]ยน characters that are his favs: Ashoka Tanno, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Jar-Jar Binks. 2 down, one to show up (or be name dropped, though I'm betting/hopping Jar-Jar gets saved the next Star Wars tv show, something that might involve more "politically powerful" figures as characters, rather than "lone gunman and kid" on the rim). 1 Plo Kloon is his favorite character, but as we all know, Master Kloon doesn't survive the Clown Wars.

I am looking forward to the second season, too. Maybe Disney has finally found some people that can make Star Wars that's enjoyable to me again. Too bad we still have those sequels. No matter what comes, we'll always have our bond over the dislike of the Star Wars Sequels. And we kinda totally forgot our bond over the dislike of the Star Wars prequels.
If Filoni likes Jar Jar, maybe he still will manage to make him a sympathic character that isn't just dumb and annoying to us?
A voice suddenly appeared in my head: "Smile and be happy, it could be worse." And I smiled and I was happy and it became worse.

And we kinda totally forgot our bond over the dislike of the Star Wars prequels. I will admit that Jar-Jar grew on me in the Clone Wars cartoon. But he was used sparingly and his foolish antics were turned against the enemy rather than used to hamper his allies. I always expect it to be worse and can thus never be disappointed.

Spicy episode of mando. Directed by Robert Rodriguez! I don't know if spicy is the word I'd use. Annoying and mildly irritating. Can't a punk-bitch just stay dead in this universe? Next it's going to be Mace Windu popping out of the bushes all because he "didn't actually die onscreen".

No one ever really dies, or so said the Sequels.
Good news for Alderaan, then.
The episode was aptly named, however... I actually shouted out a "Nooo" when The Tragedy happened.

No one ever really dies, or so said the Sequels. Good news for Alderaan, then. Eh... it was so telegraphed I wasn't really moved. They'll get him back. But the evil Jedi (Sith?) clones they make will require a Jedi team-up I am not looking forward too... I would have been more impressed if they'd have deployed the Dark Troopers during the comedy Storm Trooper slaying but that would have required slightly, slightly, more complicated shooting.

Dude, the Tragedy was my girl the Crest. RIP Of course, was there any other tragedy? The rest was just plot.

Of course, was there any other tragedy? The rest was just plot. YES! Fucking chump-change was brought back to life because someone never got over their dudecrush for "The Bounty Hunter". That was the real tragedy. The Razor Crest was just a vehicle for Manda to go from point A to point B inefficiently and where he stored all his stuff. Like, the people are irreplaceable, the beskar is irreplaceable... No, I get it, but really, I didn't feel the connection between the title "The Tragedy" and the Crest's destruction until I saw all the girly tears online over it's timely demise. I was connecting it to the kidnapping. And comically to Bubba's Resurrection. I mean, how long did Bubba hang around on Tantooine not going and getting his armor from Marshall Seth Givens... err... Raylan Bullock... wait no... fuck! Olyphant has played waaay too many Marshalls.

Fantasy meet reality.
Everywhere nerds squee... Or something. Though the actual contraption with all its components might make the storm trooper armor look practical and comfotable.
