They should have done both. That is their job. Your demand the world work how you imagine it doesn't mean it actually will. Not a demand that the world work as I imagine it. A real leader WOULD have done both. I suspect that as much as you loathe her, Hillary would have done both. You were saying it was an Obama problem. It wasn't. Obama had 8 and didn't. Point? Let me guess, Trump should have known better but sinister forces worked to stop Obama? Unlike Obama, the money to replenish the stockpile would have been allocated had Trump asked for it. Not that it likely would have happened, anyway, since the decision makers for that kind of stuff are way the fuck below the President and it's doubtful that they changed. Though extra money would have allowed those decision makers to order the shit that they thought was necessary (drugs that are only used during emergencies) as well as the PPE. Especially had those funds been set aside with that specific reason, something that Obama DID try to do. And Congress shut him down on it.

Dude, saying "real leader" doesn't change how things work. And the Hillary thing is an absolute joke, right? You're appealing to authority while citing a counterfactual that somehow proves your point that it was possible to do both and only a failing of Trump to not to? I mean, if you remotely had the right of this, then the market itself would have easily supported both replenishing the national stockpile and the states getting everything the states wanted. As this wasn't the case, it wasn't possible from a state of the market standpoint. If, instead, you think that the Federal government should have purchased everything and then distributed it to the states, that would have caused the Feds to choose who won or lost in PPE, leaving Trump actually holding the bag you're trying to stick him with now. Your argument completely ignores the fact that the states that could make large buys would have bought everything even if they didn't need it, because that's how it works without constraints -- hording. Since we don't allow for pricing against hording, and instead call that price gouging, the government mandated price ceilings means hording happens, only you want it at the state level. Or you want Trump to assume a level of power that would be utterly unprecedented (which you certainly wouldn't then complain about) to essentially go command economy on PPE. Instead, Trump directed FEMA to initiate measured buys to restock the national stockpile while simultaneously creating programs to increase supply with vendors. He relaxed restrictions that allowed more PPE to come onto the market immediately while supporting manufacturers in rapidly expanding capacity. I get that you want this to be Orange Man bad, and I get that you've grown desperate enough to invoke imaginary heroes that would have done it your way, but damn, man, get a hold of yourself. You can disagree with the policy followed -- that I have no problem with -- but claiming it was a lack of leadership and that perfect was achievable despite all the evidence to the contrary? That's just crazy. Oh, sorry, did you not know that Bush Jr. was President before Obama? Or that Obama had an epidemic occur during his Presidency that could have illuminated this to him? No? You went with sinister forces AND Trump should just know better. Good call.

Trump can never accept responsibility for his actions and always seeks to blame others. This time with a but Obama excuse: Trump again directs blame at Obama as coronavirus pandemic worsens in U.S.
He also apparently listens to game show hosts, has been game show hosts at that, over medical experts.
Trump cites game show host on pandemic while undercutting doctors and questioning their expertise
And people wonder why I relentlessly attack Trump.

Strap in, this one is a little "Epstein in 2006" level of "connecting-the-dots"... (also I hate the heavy emotion laden music, but the digging is solid)

If only some people could put their bias aside and actually have listened to Trump, but hey - mob mentality of the left is as low as the INT of the 5e Tribal Warrior (possibly lower). www.bitchute.com/video/PqqvcxdCGJo9/

When he squanders his credibility with bullshit and lies, people get tired of listening to him.

Darwin Award recipients. All 250,000 of them. www.yahoo.com/news/no-masks-required-250-000-232256861.htmlNo masks required as 250,000 expected at 10-day Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Here's what to know.
I know what you're going to say next. I also think people who protest during a freaking pandemic are Darwin Award recipients. Because what do all the medical experts that aren't Trump stooges say: Avoid large gatherings, handwash often and a wear a freaking mask.
Idiots all of them.

Ovi will probably call it nonsense and Trump is just being maligned. But the article is true.
