I'm waiting for announcement from "the scientists" that closed borders and lockdowns are in fact antithetical to fighting COVID and we need to immediately and completely open borders with China (despite them still having and lying about having COVID running rampant in their country).

I doubt that will happen and I seriously doubt any country with sense will comply with it if they somehow loose all common sense and issue such a directive.

Interesting review so far.
Nothing changed since last week. In fact, this review (included in the Volume 134, Issue 1 (Jan. 01, 2021) of The American Journal of Medicine) was first published online on August 6, 2020 with sources published and accessed no later than July 3, 2020. It is not uncommon to find medical journal articles "in print" months are their initial online publication.
I don't know when this became free (open access) for those not subscribed (higher education students usually have free access to research journals because those subscriptions are already paid by their library system), but this review is not "new".

I didn't say it was new, only that it is now become freely available and actively promoted.

I didn't say it was new, only that it is now become freely available and actively promoted. It seems to have been free and actively promoted since at least September 17, 2020[1]. In the article, Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet encourages readers to print the aforementioned review. This would suggest that it was open prior to Sept. 17, as everyday readers wouldn't be able to access it freely otherwise. The online publication of the review might have been open access since its original publication date on August 6, 2020 unless you have proof otherwise.

Which doesn't explain why so many have attempted to discredit all year long last year the Zinc-HCQ-Zpack given early treatment - they definitely convinced kirinke that it doesn't work (but that is a low bar...) *Everything* I've stated is coming to pass. 1. Originated in China lab - they've got recently video of Chinese scientists admitting that they were told to cover it up. 2. Lockdowns don't work. We saw the WHO memo a few months ago regarding it being a bad idea and now we've got multiple cities and states whose leaders are stating they need to open back up. 3. The aforementioned Zn-HCQ-Azith treatment given early protocol. Attempted to be discredited by studies proven to be flawed (and kirinke thoroughly convinced). Pooh-poohed here for it. Now we have this AMJ article that wasn't discussed widely. 4. PCR tests now being directed to use lower CT and to not be proof of a positive case. I pointed out that studies showed CT above 24 = not positive. Pooh-poohed here for it. 5. I pointed out the studies showing masks only effective in a clinical setting. Pooh-poohed for it. I'll wait - I'm sure the new "revelation" by the CDC or WHO will come out soon enough.

2. Lockdowns haven't kept people from congregating in small groups either. It is strange Cuomo wants it open now...
3. The article was open access for months and references to the review didn't become viral (heh, bad pun) until recently. You believe this is somehow a conspiracy? If so, provide supporting evidence.
4. Has the scientific community reached a consensus what the CT should be for a more accurate PCR test?
5. If a member of a household has COVID, the other members have an elevated risk of contracting it. I doubt they are all wearing masks within the household at all times. How are bars, restaurants, and grocery stores clinically demonstrated?

A positive PCR is not proof of being infected - run another test." www.who.int/news/item/20-01-2021-who-information-notice-for-ivd-users-2020-05Bars, restaurants, etc? Considering that those that allow in person dining means you have to take off your mask to eat - and nobody seems to be wearing them once seated - there has been miniscule impact on the spread where I'm at. We do have reports that the shutdown of in person dining in CA increased the spread because people stayed home and infected relatives. My point is this - there is nothing different about covid-19 as compared to any other easily spread cold virus or the flu. Not in how it spreads. I would not be surprised if we find out that the only reason so many hospitalizations and deaths have been reported is *because* we've specifically been looking, unlike colds and flu. The CDC has even started lumping covid19 in with the pneumonia, flu, and influenza-like-illness (ILI) reporting a few months ago and now refers to the stats as (CLI). Not proof of a conspiracy - but possibly proof if collective hysteria.

In other words, wear the damned mask and get the vaccine and for god's sakes, don't listen to Trump. He will literally kill you.

It is strange Cuomo wants it open now... Not even a bit. The lockdown harmed the economy, the economy must be allowed to resurge to prove how much better Biden is than Trump.

In other words - everything I've said is true - including regarding your inability to parse a simple sentence in the English language.

I you deserved to be smitten over that level of stupid. Both The Sun and The Express are UK tabloids. You're quoting fucking tabloids as proof.

The lockdown is also spreading Covid at a faster rate. Here in Los Angeles a month or so ago Larry, Joe and Frank could have gone to a restaurant to enjoy some relatively safe outdoor dining and shot the breeze in the breeze, distanced from each other and other guests. Now, they're still likely to get together, but it will be at one of their homes, inside where if one has Covid they will soon all have Covid. Then they go home and infect their families.

Bigfoot was just spotted in Wuhan? Get the tranquilizer guns!
