Hopefully the dems and swing voters will do the same. It worked last time. I just don't understand the devotion to Trump. He's an awful and truly horrible person that is about as un-christian as you can get. About the only sin he hasn't committed is murder (that we know of) and yet so called "christians" love the guy.
Boggles the mind.
It barely worked last time, and that was after 4 years of Trump and a well known moderate being put up to run against him. This next election will be after 4 years of people being governed by Democratic incompetence, which will turn off voters in that direction. Unless the Democrats put up someone moderate and credible, Trump could easily win.

And stop letting the Republicans control the message. It doesn't require a moderate to do that.

The far left, even with a good message(they don't have one to use), can't elect a president. They need the moderate Democrats AND the independents. There aren't enough voting Democrats period to elect a president, either. You aren't convincing the moderate Democrats and independents to vote far left, even with a message. I do agree with you about the messaging, though. They need to put up a moderate Democrat AND control the message.

After the disaster that has been Biden, I really think that with proper messaging a moderate is not necessary. Especially since the proper messaging would be things that most of them actually support.

Something weird going on with regard to an attack on this fuel depot in Russia: linkRussia half-heartedly blames Ukraine - you'd expect them to be leveraging its propaganda value much more enthusiastically. Ukraine denies involvement. No comment from the WH.

My guess is the Russians accidentally blew it up themselves and are embarrassed by it. On another note, the fucking idiots went into fucking Chernobyl and the Red Forest without proper equipment or protection. Great way to not win a war. Irradiating one selves that is.

I personally am more than willing to believe that Ukrainian irregular* forces took a civie copter and a few rpgs and took out some Russian "targets". Not only would official Ukrainian defense forces not be aware of the attack, but apparently Russia thinks so little of the war they have no NOE radar up to detect these sort of 'shenanigans'. I bet they get something up and running... soonish. Yeah, maybe, soonisher than laterish. I mean, their logistics and assests are really fubar these days. * That is civilians for those not up on military terminology.

I thought you were referring to John Candy, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis.

Could even be Russian irregulars if you get down to it. I think there's quite alot of civvies who are not for this stupid war.

I can't find anything glib to say about this miserable humanitarian disaster, and the grim and predictable Russian war crimes.
I would like to add that the war in Yemen is still raging, with a death toll of 150,000+ directly from the conflict, and 100s of thousands more dying of starvation, and around 9 million people are at risk of starvation in Afghanistan. We don't tend to hear about this, though, as it doesn't suit the agenda of our media overlords, and the victims are all a bit too brown with funny headwear.

It suited the Democrat Media when Trump was in charge to point out how those atrocities were on our hands, but now that it's a Democrat in office who is committing the same (and more via increased ramp up) those atrocities are now inconvenient to report on. Of course neither side wants to discuss the Palestinian Occupation honestly, so that genocidal occupation will just keep right on going with our direct funding.

I can’t say that I noticed any particular increase in Media criticism of the US enabling Saudi and UAE war crimes during the Trump administration, but maybe you’re right. Mostly it seemed ignored as long as Lockheed Martin was raking in the money. $36 billion in total increased arms sales to Saudi through the last 3 administrations. Biden made another promise and failed utterly in this rather simple moral demonstration. What a crock of shit.

It was one of the things that the Democrat Media railed Trump over during the election, claiming that "Biden would be different", because of course those were his campaign promises... all the while quietly ignoring everything Biden's down the last 50 years and everything the Obama Admin stood for, which mostly carried forward under Trump and now as well under Biden. At least Trump lowered a few medical bills for a couple of years. And gave us all a bunch of laughs.
