It's not like the US hasn't had a habit of bombing stuff before, but now the drones give them time to observe. I don't know if that is true. It makes some sense that being able to observe safely makes it easier to hit the intended target, but does it also invite more attacks? It seems to me (though admittedly I haven't run the numbers) that drone strikes have occurred more frequently than bombings did. As though drone strikes by their nature became easier to do, either for lessened risk to pilots, lessened risk to machinery, lessened feelings of guilt*, etc. * The Obama Administration listed everyone killed in drone strikes as enemies, thereby reducing civilian causalities officially to zero... I guess it's easier to sleep at night if you call the kids you bomb 'enemy combatants' instead of innocent civilians. And yeah, damn... I was expecting the Dems to be crying from the mount if Trump had gone cray-cray with the drone strikes, but apparently they decided drone strikings are good for business. Whelp, just another reason tossed on the pile for why I don't like Trump in office. Damn, now I really really extra really wish Bernie or Tulsi had won the ticket. |

I personally think its next level stupid combined with colossally, petty vindictiveness. The David Perdue and Jon Ossoff race is still in play, but Ossoff is projected to win that contest as well. It's still up in the air though. All I can say, it serves the Republicans right for hitching their wagons to such an obviously corrupt, unstable and evil person. I have no sympathy.
