GoT theme via Device Orchestra.
Game of Thrones theme played by electric toothbrushes, typewriters and payment terminals (three of each).

While I actually enjoyed the scene overall, I did notice some of the things these guys bring up in the Force Awakens combat scene... I still liked the scene though. (skip to 4:13 if you just want to see the Force Awakens ribbing)

"Good Omens" was utterly delightful. Heartily recommend.

Holy crap, Midsommar was good. Really, really good. Go see it. Unless you're sensitive to things like gore and impact trauma. Then don't. But it's quite good. Best movie I've seen in a bit of a while, really. Nordic pagan bias aside.

Oh well.

Ran across this lady from one of the Wasteland groups, I think she's amazing. And it's nice to see someone doing bellydance to metal, instead of just typical traditional or neo-traditional Arabic stuff.
Video is prolly NSFW.

That is the best song on that Sepultura album, IMO (Lookaway is very, very, close, though). At the beginning of this video, though, I was waiting for her hair to catch fire every time she dipped her head (it looks like she was unsafely close to those torches).

Watching The Boys this weekend. Really entertaining, especially if you're in the mood for some superhero deconstruction stuff.

Since I've finally started getting regular(ish) sleep again (and thus my brain can almost function*) I've started catching up on all the shows I set saide 6 months ago when I switched jobs and then got sick (repeatedly) and thus never managed (until the last couple of weeks) to get my sleep schedule (almost) under control.
I just watched The Boys, Jessica Jones s3, Archer, and The Orville s2 (even betterer than season 1†). Now I need to get caught up on Agents of S.H.I.EL.D., Star Trek Discovery, American Gods, and True Detectives. Not to mention the too numerous to mention other shows that I've got but haven't even started watching...
So which show should I get caught up on first?
* At least enough to be able to pay attention to a tv show and not pass out or forget what I'm watching 15 minutes in. † My literal only quibble is the very tidy manner in which the very end of the last episode ends.

American gods. But I drooped Discovery and never watched the others so... Too late! i already decided to watch the show that would require the absolute least brain power of them, so I'm 3 eps into s6 of Agents of S.H.I.EL.D. If I go least to most brainy bits I'll watch Trek next, then it's a toss up between Stranger things and True Detective. I'll probably do Stranger Things because I want to get caught up and I'm not sure I care enough about True Detective... despite this season looking really good.

Just watched She-Ra on Netflix. You may have heard mumblings about this show, and they're correct - it's fantastic. The characters are complex and deep (extremely so for a reboot of an 80s cartoon), especially the two main characters, Catra and Adora. (Yes, they kept alllll the cheesy names.)
Just remember that season 2 and 3 are really one season released 3 months apart.

Guess which of these 4 characters are from the same tiny, isolated medieval village:
