You're an idiot. I have already explained all these questions before. You refuse to listen. Fine.
Go out without a mask. Catch Covid-19. Spread it to your friends. Then come back and tell me how wonderful and flu like it was. Just stay the fuck away from me.
Because, A: I actually listen to real news, I actually read real medical facts. I actually do follow guidelines and you know what? I'm not doing what you fucking suggest.
Here's an article that kinda explains the how's and why's.
Here's a telling part:
I don't want to be one of the quarter million thank you very much.

What part of "Covid-19 is a fast spreading and deadly disease" that you don't get. It is far more virulent than the flu. That's why. We also don't have any immunity to it, any vaccines for it or treatment plans for it. Don't be daft. For god's sakes, stop listening to twitter.
It spreads no differently than the flu spreads - they are both respiratory diseases. And "fast spreading" need to be qualified - measles always spreads like wildfire in comparison. Is ability to kill is directly related to old age or underlying comorbidity - we already know >99% survive --> not deadly. Fast spreading does not need to be qualified. Nobody says, Usain Bolt is fast relatively speaking, because light is faster! Compared to normal flus, Covid spreads like wildfire in comparison. Hence, fast spready. No need to go look at measles, a completely different disease, to qualify that.

Infected fewer than 20 million? Multiply by 8 - 20 and you'll be closer to reality. We know that the vast majority of people who've gotten covid never even went to their doctor because 80% of those infected have mild or non-existent symptoms. No one cares about infectiousness - the only thing that matters is IFR which is right around 0.13% - on par with flu.

Why the fuck do you think we're having lockdowns and shit? Because people do care about infection rate. We want to slow down the infection rate, so less people get seriously sick and die, Not to mention, so the seriously sick don't overwhelm the hospitals.
IFR is used in planning scenarios. Which, this current administration doesn't seem to care about.
I don't know where you get your information from, but either it's wrong or you don't understand it at all.

We're having lockdowns specifically because the people that were elected as governors and mayors are completely incompetent and/or terrified by "expert" advice from medical personnel with no actual expertise - all of those Imperisl College "there will be 2 million deaths" that never actually materialized because the modeling was so bad. By Fauci "if he's such an expert, why has he been wasting funding over the past 20 years coming up with an HIV vaccine trust doesn't yet exist.". He's not an epidemiologist - he may know how viruses work, but no idea of how epidemics spread. We have incontrovertible proof of the IFR of covid being well below 1%; incontrovertible proof that most people don't even go to the doctor because the symptoms are so mild; incontrovertible proof that lockdowns are ineffective at doing anything other than prolonging the pandemic; incontrovertible proof that many covid were not, in fact, due to covid; incontrovertible proof of about 130k deaths due to lockdowns.

Bullshit. Because of the lockdowns and other mitigation efforts, we haven't had millions of deaths. Trump is the only real incompetent in this entire mess. He was left a playbook that he didn't follow. He didn't prepare for this emergency in any way shape or form. He basically left the states and cities to fend for themselves. Direction comes from the top and Trump failed.
State governors and local officials for the most part, used the best science at the time to determine policies that safeguard the populace. Considering that we don't have any effective means of treating Covid-19 or a vaccine for it, they did the best they could with what they had. Trump, he does what's best for Trump. He has continuously lied about and downplayed the threat of Covid-19.
The only reason why it's not worse is because we didn't follow Trump's ideas. At all.
Nice try. But no, not convincing at all.

You're entitled to your own opinions. You aren't entitled to your own facts. If Trump allegedly is at fault, then why are you stating that governors and local officials used the best science available? You don't see the fallacy in your statement since we all know that *they* are responsible, not Trump. Which is why so many died in NY NJ, PA, MI, and CA when they forced nursing homes to accept covid patients. As to playbooks - you mean the one Obama and Biden left him - the one where they depleted all the PPE and didn't restock? The one where they stopped testing and counting after they got to 60 million H1N1 infections and buried they're heads in the sand because they had no idea how to deal with it? That one?

Because A: you can't die from Covid-19 unless you get B: infected with Covid-19. On the other hand, you can't get sick from Covid-19 unless you are infected with Covid-19.
That's logic.

It's the reason we are seeing numbers of dead that dwarf all other flus combined. Infectiousness isn't a concern at all other than to panicky people. If infectiousness was the ordinary concern, we'd be hiding in basements due to the common cold - vastly more infectious than SARS, SARS2, or flu. Likewise malaria and TB. About 1.5 million people die from TB every year. Malaria kills even more. IFR is the only thing that matters because that is how you figure out who gets hospitalized or dies. We know that the number of infections is vastly higher than reported, which means that the IFR is extremely low. Who cares how many get infected if most of them are asymptomatic or have Mike symptoms? The current estimate of IFR is well below 1% and most of those who die already have one foot in the grave to begin with.

That's logic.
The same can be said of every disease. Are you hiding in your basement due to the common cold? A mutated adenovirus (cold virus) killed 5% of those infected back in 2007 - a vastly higher IFR than coronavirus. You know what CDC recommended? Washing your hands and staying away from sick people. Not mask wearing, not lockdowns, not panicking.

We don't have a vaccine for lots of viruses that are deadly and contagious - we don't panic over them. And the efficacy for vaccines we do have is not 100% - and we don't panic. And, cold viruses, which date more contagious than covid, have no vaccine. But you go right ahead and keep on swallowing what the MSM gives you to swallow, like the good leftist slave zombie that you are.

We do have treatments for those deadly and contagious viruses for the most part.
Vaccines aren't ever going to be 100% effective. That's a reality. Vaccines are used to help control the spread of diseases and treatments/medicines help you recover from the diseases in question. Vaccines in general are tailored for a specific virus. A flu vaccine is not going to make you immune to measles for example.
Cold viruses are generally not fatal, nor do they have generally have serious complications. We also have treatments for colds.
Covid-19 is a deadly, highly contagious and fast spreading disease that has been shown to have serious long lasting complications even after one has recovered from the initial disease. There is no treatment for it as of yet. At least there is no treatment that's widely available for the masses, nor is there a vaccine. Thusly, we have lockdowns and other mitigation efforts in place and in play.
If you did your research, you'd know this. Instead you rely on twitter and blogs. I rely on science and real facts. Not "alternative" facts that you pull out of the Nether of Twitter where the ancient alien theorists dwell and where Kellyanne Conway mourns the victims of the Bowling Green Massacre and Mexico is paying for a glorious wall. The check's in the mail you know...
You're not very good at this kind of game are you?
