No, what you want to do is worse than death. Yeah that's some hyperbole man. Nothing is worse than death. So long as you live, there is hope of release and/or healing and moving past whatever you are suffering. There is no moving past death. Now being treated in an illiberal fashion by the Left Big Tech may be bad, but it's not worse than death and there is a solution for it. It may take more illiberality from the oppressed side, but there are means and ways. The 2nd protects the 1st as the saying goes. Now we'll see how things shape up over the next few months, I suspect as people migrate and we redecentralize across divergent platforms, people will care less and less that the Big Tech oligarchy*, Amazon, Google, Apple and the SocMeds of Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube (which is google again) are being hella censorious as it will personally impact them less and less. * You know what I just realized, by staying out of the hosting wars, Microsoft has lost it's standing as "the most evil" big tech company and that is just kinda amazing to me as they are still really shit, they're just not deliberately being assholes anymore. But, luckily, understanding and agreement isn't required for me to feel they should be allowed to do what they wish to do with their own lives. "Hate speech" is saying nigger where anyone who is black or might be offended for a black can hear you, burning crosses in a black person's yard is threat, harassment, and vandalism/destruction of property. Calling a politician a nazi is hate speech in Great Britain, just for example. But wasn't hate speech when that same politician called people nazis. I don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Trump exercising free speech might be considered torture by some, but it 1) has nothing to do with what I said, and 2) is the fault of the person listening. People have the right to speak. Trump is at fault because he didn't let communism and crony capitalist globalism continue unchecked like it did under Obama... Because he made decisions based upon facts rather than emotions. That's what the kirinkes hate the most - that people are able to think for themselves and consider the facts and the likely unintended consequences instead of knee-jerk deciding based upon what they feel good about, even though they may be completely wrong. Example: kill Keystone XL because native amerind land; because no shale oil production. Never mind that a pipeline full of oil moves product more quickly and is less polluting than diesel-powered locomotives pulling rail cars that derail and leak all over when transferring to facilities at the end of their journey. Or natural gas in a pipeline is less likely to be an issue than having to convert it to LNG in carriers that are basically timebombs if not properly maintained. Example (and it ties into the above example): Solar energy is clean. Never mind that the process to create solar cells is totally polluting to the environment and uses chinese slaves. But hey - these were all Obama opportunities to throw taxpayer money at the "shovel-ready" Solyndras of the world to waste, not properly install solar cells, and then quickly go under. Because the marketing had sold people on the idea that solar is clean while Obama and Biden lined their pockets. |
