Jesus fuck, but you're dense. What we expect from Presidents is fucking pointless blather -- it's buying into the idea that it's Trump's demeanor that's important. He's a fucking clown -- and I hate clowns. I don't say this to defend him, but to point out exactly how he acts. That you'd rather be fixated on media stories about his clownery really says more about you than whether it's important the President have decorum -- it's an admission that you're down to his unpleasant behavior, his boorishness, and not substantive discussion. This, if anything, is the accidental genius of Trump (and I mean accidental) -- his opponents are so befuddled by his behavior that they lose the ability to engage in anything else.

I have actual policy disputes with Trump. I dislike him on a number of issues. I actually like him on others. I will never condone his behavior, but I'm not about to be trapped into thinking that's even close to the most important thing. Trump behaving like a bull in the china shop is so routine at this point that I don't care anymore -- I'm not going to start liking it, but I'm no longer fooled by the noise of breaking china. You seem to still want to talk about the poor glassware, likely because you couldn't articulate any substantive points against Trump outside of Russia or Ukraine.

The problem is that there are a lot of Democrats like Kzach that are working hard to get Trump re-elected.  Their rabid and blind hatred causes them to spew out shit that is so totally outrageous and wrong, that the left ends up getting ignored when it talks about Trump and he skates away from things that should cause him to fall through the ice and sink.  It's one of the main reasons that Hillary lost.  If the left nominates a socialist(anyone other than Biden at this point) it will be a nail in the left's coffin.  If they continue to spew BS as they have been for the last 3 years, it will be the final nail.

I really don't want the Kzaches of the world to stick me with Trump for another 4 years, but they seem to be too stupid to learn from their mistakes.

I form my own opinions and stopped paying attention to the MSMs years ago. Well and before Trump got his dreams of grandeur. Hell... early in the Obama presidency if I remember the timeline of CNN's slow decent into lefty sperging.

I've never understood why protesters buy hats or other merch from the people or organizations they hate just to burn it.

You've A, spent money on stuff that helps the guy you hate and

You're better off just not buying their shit. On the more extreme end, these are also the same sort of loonies that will cut off their own nose or set fire to themselves to prove some sort of weird, pointless, point thingie. 

I understand it (it's to make a gesture, the burning is exclaiming their outrage), but I agree, it is rather pointless.

Now if they stole the merch, and then burned it, I'd agree a bit more with their actions.
