I guess there are some significant differences between the US and Germany. The last time someone could be considered ANTIFA murdered people seems a few decades ago, but there have been recent and more frequents events of people that seem t fit the NAZI label murdering people. (Oh, and also of curse Islamists.)
But it's understandeable that even in Germany, the Left are considered more threatening. The Left will lights up cars, while the Right lights up immigrants, and most people own cars, but very few own any immigrants.

Seems to me that antifa is too diffuse to make sweeping statements about their members. There's no national leadership of any kind, no leadership at the state level, only at the local level is there leadership, and those local leaders aren't really connected with each other. And the "leaders" aren't really leaders. They don't decide much at all, just get the people together to do their protests. They don't plan what they're going to do, very much unlike people like the Proud Boys. |

It's not like I want the right to get cleaned up and start flying right, if they did they'd be more dangerous. As it stands the centrists and unaffiliated tend to hate the far-right for the bullshit they pull. The problem here is... the far-left has starting making them look attractive*, so I'd rather the left clea it's shit up, ostracize the crazies on the edge, and win back the centrists, moderates, and affiliateds. * When the cntrl-left try to tell people what they have to believe, call them nazis because they aren't screamingly far-left, censor, and make ludicrous demands, they begin to look worse than the bigots, racists, and sexists on the alt-right. See, I'd rather ally with the side that will let me keep the freedom to tell them to get fucked once the current battle is won, the cntrl-left won't leave you that option if they actually get their way. |

There are no Nazis, or at least no more than a few rabid individuals that qualify as Nazis. The real Nazis set the bar for what it takes to be one, and dressing up in a Nazi uniform, calling yourself a Nazi and just hating people doesn't qualify. To be a Nazi you have to shoot Jewish infants in the head, gas people to death by the millions, invade countries and force them to capitulate to you, and so on. It's a very high bar that only the few crazies that actually shoot up Jewish synagogues achieve. |
