Thanks... I can see it now. And.... Alternatively you cut the "?format=png&name=large" * and replace it with ".png". I've been doing that, but I stopped giving a shit about doing the work just so you could be saved a step in seeing it. * "?format=" is xml code for "What type of file is it?". "&name=" is a declaration of additional effects, in this case "the picture is large" or "display it in a large format". This is so mobile/active browsers will autoscale the pictures properly. Note, I'm being terribly imprecise and I'm sure an xml webmonkey somewhere just wished an eternal pox on my house. Two things: 1 - What thread is this? That's what I thought, not the comedy* thread. 2 - Do you even understand it? * That people find it funny is probably due to ironic humour, and of course, they actually know what it's talking about. (EDIT) No idea who the woman is. Of course, I should always check to see if there's another page before responding... I could give you the answer the women would ("Educate yourself!"), but I'm not made of that nonsense, so, it's Robin DiAngelo, author of White Fragility, probably one of the the most well known Progressive Thought Leaders of today's world. She's also extremely racist, which is where the ironic comedy comes in (but then modern Progressivism is extremely racist so, not like you could have a non-racist Progressive Thought Leader). (/EDIT)

So... how much weight does O'Sullivan's Law have. I mean it sounds as though it is plausibly describing reality... So I stopped watching the cited exemplar show 24 after a few episodes when it came out. My understanding later was that it was consistent over time in portraying torturing Arabs as unfortunate but absolutely the right thing to do to save lives because of convoluted ticking time bomb situations the show creators set up. So is it an exemplar because it is expressly right wing and stayed so throughout with its glorification of heroic Americans torturing Arabs for the greater good in the War against Terror? Or are they saying it is not expressly right wing and changed to be left wing over time in some dimension?

Oops, thought that was from the last page, not the first.

So I stopped watching the cited exemplar show 24 after a few episodes when it came out. Which is why you have a very limited understanding of the show. It started middle-line (aside from "torture-porn" and "Islamophobia"*) and shifted left (more women agents, more PoC agents, a greater showing of the ineffectiveness of Security Theatre, the danger of a Big Brother governmental mindset, etc). Deliberately so, so... eh, Sullivan's Law might not properly apply as the creators were all liberals to start with and had a slow slide agenda from day one. * In quotes because I disagree that those terms apply exactly. They apply sloppily and from a lefty agenda driven point-of-view. No, in fact it had several times where torture was ineffective and distracting from getting the job done. I'd call it a nuanced approach.

I guess I'm not a progressive then, because I have no fucking clue who she is. Ahh found her. Basically sounds like a real life version of PC Principle.

Thanks... I can see it now. And....
Dude.... That's really not funny.
I think the irony of the messages being very similar is very funny. The left has become extremely fascist in their behavior.

It really doesn't matter who says it. It's not funny and never was. The only way you're going to get rid of racism is to realize there is only one human race period. We're all fucking humans. The rest is just bullshit that should have gone to the wayside along beside phrenology. Nobody is special or horrible because of their skin color.

I can appreciate the humor in the irony and still realize that we are all human. Those are not mutually exclusive things.

We have different ideas on humor. I find it sad that people still think like that in this day and age. We really haven't progressed all that much as a species if that's the case. I mean hell, it's not that hard a concept. We're all human. Our shit stinks just the same whether we're brown, white, red, yellow or polka-dot blue and pink.

Jesus, the lack of self-reflection here is staggering.

It's not a hard concept to grasp Ovi. Are you having difficulties with it?
