H'okay, guess old Vlad is ready for WWIII. Suit up, make sure the fallout shelters are stocked, and put on your SPF 3billion. Trudeau's extreme authoritarianism up there is really, really troubling. Just a decade ago Canada was arguably 'freer' than the US, but now it's downright dystopian. Need to watch the WEF boys on Biden's payroll, make sure they aren't also gearing up to Build Back Better to the Great Reset down here too (they totally are).

In case this slipped under anyone's radar amidst the Ukraine posturing and Joe Rogan bitchfest, the Department of Homeland Security are moving to equate "misinformation" with domestic terrorism. Here's the DHS release: link
John Knefel at Truthout - which is a proper screaming Lefty outfit, not some vehicle for corporate apologists - explains why this is a fucking terrible idea: link

In case this slipped under anyone's radar amidst the Ukraine posturing and Joe Rogan bitchfest, the Department of Homeland Security are moving to equate "misinformation" with domestic terrorism. Here's the DHS release: link It's about time HomSec catches up with the FBI in labeling regular US citizens as domestic terrorists.Good job there, but I doubt kirinke will understand why he is saying the sky is blue when the Biden Admin is claiming it's green. But seriously, Knefel displays how he too has fallen victim to political "truthyism/disinformation": "Rogan’s anti-science, I’m-just-asking-questions shtick is also a serious threat to public health." Rogan isn't "anti-science", science itself is the act of questioning, if you aren't questioning, your aren't performing science (or learning). Deciding what is "right" or "truth" based on party politics is a dangerous line to cross, and here at least, Knefel has crossed it. Labeling your political opponents anti-science in order to censor them* is political activism. And of course I don't think Knefel went far enough in reminding readers that governments never take the lesser of control measures† or ever give them back once taken. * In this case to bias any lefties who might think of listening in to Joe's podcasts and deciding for themselves what is true instead of just taking Knefel's word for it. † Frex, the DHS proposal attempts to link misinformation and violence in a substantive way, that is, they'd only be investigating "misinformation" when it looks to be "directly linked to or leading to" violence. But really? Do any of us (aside from kirinke) believe that? Of course not, they'll be investigating anyone who steps out of line against eh politics that the DHS heads support. Just a few days ago I mentioned Canada (and previously I've mentioned Australia) being weather vanes, we can see the winds of authoritarianism blowing in (ostensibly still) Democratic countries right now, Canada 1, Britain/Scotland 2, and Australia 3 are the canaries in the coal mine, and Biden is following The Great Reset's "Build Back Better" plan quite well so far. This needs to be stopped now, while it can still be stopped non-violently. 1 - Seizing bank accounts and payment processor accounts of anyone involved in or supporting directly or indirectly the Freedom Convoy. And right on cue, Trudeau declared the emergency still in existence despite the protest having been quite effectively quashed. I wonder who he thinks he needs to go after next? I'll bet if the RCMP squint hard enough they could find indirect links of Andrew Scheer and Erin O'Toole supporting the Freedom Convoy... 2 - Average citizens getting locked up for making jokes, "misgendering someone online", and politicians threatening to lock citizens up for calling elected officials names. 3 - Brutal, I mean absolutely extreme force, police brutality on anyone disobeying lockdowns. People have been hospitalized for going out to get their mail, alone, on nigh empty streets.

You can thank Joe Biden for siding with Big Pharma (after they lined his families pockets) instead of suspending the vaccine copyrights like he campaigned on.

"I also want thank Albert Bourla, Pfizer’s CEO and Chairman, for joining me today. We’ve gotten to know each other over the last few months...[]...I'm a big union guy...[]...I want to thank you all. Now, I’d like to turn it over to my friend, the CEO and Chairman of Pfizer, Aver- — Al- — Albert Bourla." - Joe Biden at the G7 After, of course, Mr Bourla parked his private jet next to Boris Johnson's state plane
You can't make this shit up. But it's ok because Biden is a big union guy.

You can't make this shit up. But it's ok because Biden is a big union guy. He was... I don't if he (or his Administration anyway) is anymore. Like, you know the Biden Admin (and our gov in general) saw Trudeau engage in some of the most heavy handed bullshit seen in a democratic country since the Nazis, and collectively got wet at the prospect of what the DHS's "MisDisMal" "domestic terrorism" classification would mean for them.

Trump chased peaceful protesters out of a public space with tear gas, had them arrested and then used the military as a photo op while holding a bible upside down. You were defending that if I recall correctly. Now it's horrible when the shoe is on the other foot.
It's awful when it's people you personally like and woo-hoo when it's people you dislike.

Trump chased peaceful protesters out of a public space with tear gas, had them arrested... You should be careful who you allow to generate the spin you chose to believe. No, I 'defended' that they were ordered to disperse, they did not, and thus they were cleared from the park. Some sources claim the capitol police didn't "make the order to disperse loud enough to be heard", which is bull, but they can claim what they want, the Biden run Executive and Justice department have cleared Trump (and Barr) of any wrong-doing in that matter. It also, as has since come out, wasn't ordered so Trump could make a photo shoot, the park was cleared so contractors could erect fencing to protect that area of the Capitol from potential rioters. Trump found out it was happening and decided to coattail himself a "law and order" photo shoot out of it. No one was arrested or jailed. So you can stop lying about that, and no one had their bank accounts seized by the government, so it isn't even close to being the same thing. No, governments seizing the bank accounts of protesters is awful no matter to whom it's done. But you see, I've been against asset seizure for years (decades actually), but you wouldn't understand that, because you don't have ethics or morals, you just have outrage at the "Right" for reasons you don't even understand.

Yeah, might be believable if Trump hadn't taken the opportunity to get a photo op right after.
The Truckers were ordered to disperse and they did not. Consequences....
Hey, when protests turn violent, what do you expect governments to do short of shooting them? Hand out lollipops? And yes, I have decried violence of any sort during protests. Once they turn violent, I have always retracted my support.

Hey, when protests turn violent, what do you expect governments to do short of shooting them? Hand out lollipops? Exactly as they do when other protest turns riot, use riot squad tactics. Not seize accounts of everyone, including people indirectly funding the protest. kirinke, you spent the entirety of 2020 and 2021 deny the BLM/Antifa protests ever turned violent. Even when presented evidence that BLM/Antifa protests caused non-police, non-protesters deaths (from burning down residences after chaining the doors shut, shooting a piar in the CHAZ, killing an elderly security guard, etc, etc) you denied any wrong doing by the protesters. And even when forced to accept that the protest became violent (which you always claimed were "other people, not the protesters"), you excused the rioters actions by claiming the police instigated it.* You have no morals or ethics, you have only anger that anyone has politics that don't line up lockstep with whatever the man on the tv tells you to believe in. * You might notice, I haven't excused any actions taken by the Freedom Convoy, only spoken out against Asset Forfeiture and Seizure. Do you know why? Because I have ethics that don't waffle based on "party line" standards. If Trump's DoJ had seized BLM Global's (the scam organization) funds during the 2020 protests, I'd have been just as outspoken in their defense. They may be a scam, but they still have the right to asset protection (unless charged and then found guilty of a crime, but that's a different story and not going to happen).

I don't remember discussing blocking people inside. That's wrong and I've never condoned violence NB.

That's wrong and I've never condoned violence NB. "Excused". You have excused violence done by rioters as "but the police started it", despite anything else that was going on. For the last two years, it's never been the fault of the rioters for how they've been treated, it's always been the "police brutality" and "police oppression". But suddenly you're happy about police state oppression, and when there isn't even any violence from the protesters, funny that...
